Transactions

Transaction: Buying/ Selling a Business, M&A Valuations

If you’re like most business owners, your business is your largest investment. Many business owners believe the value of their business is net profit, or gross sales, multiplied by an industry multiple, i.e., rule of thumb. This is simply not the case. In fact, the application of an industry multiple often results in a value determination that differs greatly from the actual value that could be determined by a valuation expert. If you’re considering selling your business, contemplating a merger or an acquisition, partnership buy-in or buy-out and need to know how much your business is worth, we can help you to determine the fair market value of your company.
